Nelly Edwards

Nelly Edwards is an illustrator based in the countryside just outside of Newbury, West Berkshire. Nelly had always dreamt of being an illustrator when she was a child. Now more than 40 years’ later, she’s able to live that dream!  

Nelly predominantly works in the medium of collage. She works in her tiny home studio hand printing fun colours, patterns and textures onto recycled paper that she finds here and there (like a Womble). Each newly printed piece of paper provides her imagination the opportunity to run wild and go on exciting adventures.  

Pascale Estellon

Pascale Estellon is a writer and illustrator known for her whimsical artwork. She has published numerous activity and non-fiction books that sell in both the French and English language, including My Big Photo Activity Book (Thames & Hudson). She lives in Brunoy, France

Daishu Ma

Daishu Ma is a Chinese illustrator and graphic artist working in East London. Daishu’s first wordless graphic novel Leaf was published in 2014. Her work expresses a keen interest in science and nature. As well as writing and illustrating her own stories, she has worked on various collaborative projects, including the Chinese edition of the bestselling non-fiction title Seven Brief Lessons on Physics.

Kiko

Kiko lives on the fifth floor of a Parisian building where he creates designs for readers young and old. When not immersed in his artwork, Kiko enjoys playing the guitar, spending time with his daughter and taking in the sights of the city. His impressive portfolio includes publications with Milan, Gallimard, Tourbillon, Bayard and Fleurus. Kiko is also a regular contributor to popular children’s magazines.

Elyon Liu

Elyon Liu is a passionate storyteller who brings narratives to life with bold imagination and vibrant colours. With a background in Economics from PKU and RUC in China, and Children’s Book Illustration from ARU in the UK, she has quickly gained recognition as a children’s book artist. Her accolades include the Apila First Print Award 2024 in Spain, First Prize for Chinese Original Picture Book 2024, JIA Illustration Bronze Award 2023 in Japan, and Macmillan Prize Highly Commended 2023 in the UK. Elyon is also a 2024 British Council Venice Fellow.

Panos Christodoulou

Panos Christodoulou studied Law at the University of Athens and Human Rights at the University of London. He has collaborated on human rights issues with various organisations across Europe, such as the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and the Greek Council for Refugees. In 2016, he became the director of the Network for Children’s Rights. As a children’s author, he has published thirteen books and been nominated for various awards, including the 2013 Children’s Literature Award by the Anagnostis magazine (The Ball of Their Life, Kedros Publishing) the Cyprus State Prize in 2016 (How I Got Involved with Justice and Other Unknown Words, Nomiki Vivliothiki Publishing).

Daniela Stamatiadi

Daniela Stamatiadi is a graduate of the Athens School of Fine Art. Since 2000, she has illustrated over 100 picture books for children. She has received many awards, including the Greek IBBY, the Greek Graphic Design and Illustration Award and the Peter Pan prize for best translated book from the Swedish IBBY for Sabelle’s Red Dress. She was also the Greek nominee for the Hans Christian Andersen Award in 2014. Her first author-illustrator picture book, I Wanna! (Ikaros), and silent picture book, Every Ending Is a New Beginning (Patakis Publishers), were published in 2021; the latter was selected for the BRAW Amazing Bookshelf. Her third book with her own text, A Whole New Monkey, was created in 2024.
